Mission and Vision

Mission

To promote the highest quality of health for patients with skin disease through creative teaching, systematic research and the provision of empathetic, state-of-the-art medical care
Vision
In next 10 years we want to develop our department and we aim for:
1. Development in infrastructure for procuring PG seats. In this regard we need following staff:
  - 1 Associate Professor
  - 3 senior residents
  - 1 Clerk and separate skin department
  - Separate departmental library
2. Development of OPD:
  - 2 dental chairs for patient examination and OPD procedures
  - Demonstration room
  - Clinical room
  - Minor OPD procedures: cryotherapy, chemical peels, wood’s lamp examination,
3. Providing intensive ICU facilities for emergency dermatological conditions by creating separate ICU
4. Starting a skin bank/ immunohistochemistry in collaboration with surgery, microbiology and pathology department
5. Lasers: Nd:YAG, CO2, Er: YAG, IPL
6. Well-equipped OT for major skin procedures like hair transplant and other procedures.
7. Starting a separate dermato-histopathology section, we need separate light microscope and histopathology room.
8. Providing more advanced cosmetic procedures like botox, fillers, liposuction for patient care
9. Conducting CME’s and research projects
