Functions and objectives :
1. Providing OPD services to General medicine patients
2. Providing  IPD services to general medicine patients
3. Providing  ICU and ICCU services to critically ill patients 
4. Providing services to infectious disease patients in a dedicated Infectious Disease ward
5. Providing speciality clinic services like Hypertension clinic, endocrinology & Diabetes clinic
6. Providing facilities for medical board for government servants
7. Providing proper classroom and clinical training for undergraduates
8. Providing clinical and classroom teaching for postgraduates
9 Running health awareness campaigns
10. Running various national health programmes as per government directives

11 Actively participating in CMEs and research projects running at the institute
