Introduction

Dermatology is the medical science of disorders of the skin. Often skin lesions and disorders are markers of internal disease and mirror the processes occurring within the body. Dermatology has been called "a window through which to see the entire body”.
Although many skin diseases are chronic and recurrent, because of the introduction of the biologicals the common skin diseases like psoriasis and pemphigus which were considered incurable and chronic are now treatable with unbelievable results.
        Cosmetic or aesthetic dermatology is an emerging subbranch aimed to reverse the effects of aging, to improve the quality of the skin, to augment facial structures, and to improve the patient's overall appearance. Aesthetic dermatology is unique because, unlike any other procedure, it is initiated by the patient and not by the physician & it has become increasingly popular across all sections of the population.
